Dental

When visiting us, a thorough dental examination will include the following:

Diagnostic X-rays

Diagnostic X-rays are taken in order to detect any decay, possible bone loss, tumours or cysts.

Oral Screening

An oral screeing of the face, lips, tongue and gums are done to check for any sign of oral cancer lesions.

Gums

Gums will be examined for any signs of periodontal diseases that could affect the gums and bone around the teeth.

Examination

Examinations are done for all tooth surfaces to check for possible tooth decay.

When a consultation for a specific problem is requested by the patient, not all of the above procedures will be used; only those which seem necessary at the time in order to identify and treat the specific problem presented by the patient.
